Firstly here is the new full feature commercial trailer for Modern Warfare 2.

So far we can obviously see that there will be the British SAS, American Soldiers, Russian Soldiers and what looks to be some kind of Terrorist faction out of Rio De Janeiro. That’s great and all but the look they have going for the SAS and his skull masked partner is concerning. A mohawk? A skull print mask?

I’m not going to bitch too much about this because the clip only shows pieces from the single player campaign and not the multi player elements, but let’s hope Infinity Ward doesn’t go too crazy with dorkifying the characters.

To me, mohawks and skull print masks are a bit more “Saints Row” or “Mercenaries 2” than Call of Duty. I would hate to see MW2 go the way of “bro tribal-tats” and in-game billboard ads. Let’s just keep it uniform infantry and special ops characters with some kind of dignity in their appearance.

Next thing you know we may end up with fluorescent pink camouflage as multi player options next to the three foot afro puff hair customization kit. No thanks.
